Privacy Policy

Information We Collect

We only collect the information we need to respond to your request and provide tree services:

• Contact details you give us — such as your name, phone number, email address, and property address when you call, email, or submit a form requesting a quote or estimate.
• Job details — information you share about the work you need so we can prepare an accurate estimate.
• Website usage data — information collected automatically by Google Analytics when you visit, such as which pages you viewed, roughly where in the world you are, what kind of device and browser you used, and whether you tapped a call button or sent us a form. See “Analytics and cookies” below.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide to:

• Respond to your inquiry and provide a free estimate;
• Schedule, perform, and follow up on tree services;
• Contact you about your request or an existing job;
• Improve our website and the services we offer.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.

SMS/Text Messaging

If you provide your mobile phone number and opt in to receive text messages from us, your phone number and opt-in consent will not be shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, excluding vendors and service providers acting on our behalf solely to deliver those messages.

Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help.

Any information sharing described elsewhere in this policy excludes mobile opt-in data and text messaging consent.

Our full messaging program terms, including opt-out handling and carrier liability, are available in our Terms of Service at https://godhans.com/terms-of-service.

Forms and Analytics

Our quote and contact forms are processed by Formspree, a third-party form provider that delivers your message to us by email. Information you submit through these forms is handled according to Formspree's privacy practices.

We use Google Analytics 4 to measure how the site is doing. It tells us how many people visited, which pages they read, and which of those visits turned into an inquiry — specifically, when someone submits the quote form and when someone taps a call button. We look at those numbers to work out which pages are worth writing and which are not.

Cookies

A cookie is a small text file a website stores on your device. Google Analytics 4 sets cookies so it can tell a returning visitor from a new one and keep a visit together as one session. Those are the only cookies this site sets — there is no advertising network, no remarketing pixel, and no other tracker on it.

Google describes what it does with the data it collects on sites that use its services here: How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.

If you would rather not be counted, you have two straightforward options. Install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, which stops Google Analytics on every site you visit, not just ours. Or set your browser to refuse cookies. Nothing on this site stops working if you do either — the analytics simply will not see you.

How We Protect Your Information

We take reasonable measures to keep your information secure and limit access to it. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Choices

You may ask us to update or delete the contact information you have shared with us at any time. To do so, call us at (618) 704-4861 or email godhanstree@gmail.com.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of our website after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
